The Viejas Casino in Alpine, California offers a variety of casino games that you’d expect plus several others that you really wouldn’t. We actually started our visit to this casino destination a little bit earlier than normal, simply because one of our staff members noticed several online coupons on the Viejas website that got us some match-play money, free bets, and a complimentary meal. Since we were headed to conduct a loyalty review, this definitely put them in a favorable light for all of us.

The Viejas Casino also has a very solid rewards program called the Club V. Maybe we were just lucky, but as we walked to the registration desk to obtain our Club V cards, we saw a promotion advertised that told us to swipe our card daily for a chance to win free money. On day one, I was given $50 and another of our staff members won $100 on day three; this definitely had us pumped up and ready to see what the real rewards program looked like.
The Viejas Casino Rewards – The Good
Well, to put it bluntly we were pleasantly surprised yet again because the Viejas Casino rewards their players as well as any major chain in Las Vegas or Atlantic City. Nearly everything from free rounds of golf to luxury suites and concert tickets were thrown at us left and right; and this was on day one. I personally never once paid for a meal at the Viejas Casino and I never spent a single dollar out of my pocket on the premises except for gambling; it really was that generous of a loyalty plan.
There is also a cash-back rewards plan, plenty of match play, exclusive tournaments, vehicle giveaways, and about fifty other perks that we simply can not list here due to space. All I’ll say is that the Viejas Casino is the real deal; they spoil their high rollers as well as anyone.
The Viejas Casino Rewards – The Bad
The funny part about these reviews is that everyone on our staff always wants to write about the perks but they hate completing this section. Not me though; I absolutely love exposing weak loyalty plans and telling everyone why they should avoid certain gambling halls. In this case, however, I really do not know what to say…the Viejas Casino loyalty program is really that good.

Overall we have a terrific stay at the Viejas Casino; even those on our staff that lost money walked away feeling like a winner. With world-class service, the best loyalty program around, a great resort, and fantastic food, the Viejas is definitely the place to be if you’re looking to establish a reputation with a California casino.
