The Summer Million will take place August 5th, 2012 at 1:30pm ET. Satellite tournaments are already underway with buy-ins as low as… nothing!

Satellite events began on May 7th and will continue to run right up until the start of the big million dollar tourney.
Country specific freerolls are being held daily at PartyPoker where the top 10 finishers will go on to play in the Summer Million Special Satellite, which guarantees the top 5 positions a seat in the Summer Million. Players who want to compete for a seat in the Summer Million Special Satellite can also win a seat by playing for free in daily 10 and 25 player-point qualifiers.
There are multiple daily qualifiers ongoing at Party Poker. The cheapest is a $1 sub qualifier speed tourney with rebuys leading into a daily $25+$2 qualifier with rebuys. For every $640 paid into this qualifier, 1 player will earn a seat in the Sunday Million. Next is a $2 daily sub qualifier speed tourney with rebuys that leads winners to a $64+$6 daily qualifier where 1 out of every 10 players entered will win a seat in the PartyPoker Summer Million.
The online poker room will be hosting weekly qualifiers as well. Every day there will be a $2 Mega Friday sub qualifier speed tourney with rebuys, as well as a $6 Mega Friday sub qualifier (no rebuys), both of which award seats in the weekly $50+$5 Summer Million Mega Friday Satellite that guarantees 10 players entry to the Summer Million.
Finally, players who don’t win a seat in the $1m GTD event, or don’t have time to play in satellites and qualifiers, can always buy their way into the Summer Million directly for $640+$64. The mammoth tournament will begin at 1:30pm sharp on August 5th with each player receiving 20,000 chips to start. Blinds will commence at 25/50 and increase every 20 minutes, incorporating a 25 ante with 250/500 blinds at the 6th level.
