Sky Poker Introduces New Weekly Loyalty Rewards Program

There are big changes going on at UK’s popular online card room, Sky Poker. The Loyalty Rewards program has been significantly altered to give players more benefits than ever, and more often. Loyal members of Sky Poker will be rewarded on a weekly basis according to the new 10-level loyalty scheme. And to celebrate, the online poker room is giving away a slew of free iPad Air 2 tablets.

New Sky Poker Rewards ProgramThe new Sky Poker Rewards program has been restructured to deliver benefits to players based on their weekly activity, Monday through Sunday, as opposed to the old scheme that calculated all rewards on a monthly basis. Several new VIP levels have been introduced to give players more value, more bonuses and other perks like entry to freerolls and up to 20% rakeback.

Sky Poker initiated the launch of its new loyalty rewards program on Monday, June 1, 2015. Players will receive their final monthly payment from the previous monthly rewards program (ending May 31) today, June 3.

The operator has also done away with promotional codes where its new loyalty program is concerned. Every member of the online poker room is automatically eligible to earn cash rewards, with no need to opt in.

Earn Rewards by Collecting Sky Poker Points

Just as before, members of Sky Poker will earn cash rewards by generating Poker Points. These valuable points are accumulated by participating in real-money cash games, SNG and MTT tournaments at the online poker room. Every week, members will receive cash bonuses based on the number of Poker Points they generated during the previous week’s play.

With all the new changes, Sky Poker was quick to point out that the way in which Poker Points are generated has not changed. Every £1 contributed to the rake at a cash game will still earn 6 Poker Points, while every £1 spent on tournament fees will continue to grant 10 Poker Points.

New Sky Poker Rewards Levels

While one of the primary goals was to shift players towards a weekly rewards program, the restructured VIP tiers at Sky Poker also include a monthly scheme. There are now 6 VIP levels that pay weekly, and 4 VIP levels that pay monthly, in addition to weekly payments. The Sky Poker Rewards levels and their corresponding benefits are as follows:
